The Head boy and head Girl along with the Vice Head Boy & Vice Head Girl, House captains, Vice Captains and the Class Representatives are members of the Student Council. The student council is responsible for setting up and organizing inter -house events and helping at functions such as Sports Day Annual Day etc.
Students are allocated one of the Five houses-Red, Green, Yellow & Purple. The student learns to grow into a responsible and caring citizen which is incultated by games and other activities conducted through the house system.
All Parent’s and teachers of the school are members of the P.T.A. the objective of the P.T.A is to foster co-operation between the Parents, the school and the teachers in achieving the school ision which is focused primarily on the child’s learning, development & well being. The elected members of the H.S.S. PTA forms the Executive Committee. Meetings of the P.T.A. Executive Committee are held regularly to discuss various student issues and special needs of the school.
The school has special education and counseling services. It focuses on support students in helping them and understand the difficulties they face at school and equ them with skills to overcome and deal with them in an effective manner. A qualif counselor visits the school once a month in this regard.
All visitors to the school are expected to sign in at the school entrance when they enter and exit the school premises. Visitor’s have to strictly abide to the rules set by school for the safety of the children.
CCTV cameras have being installed outside and within the school premises. school campus is under CCTV surveillance at all times.
The canteen of the institution is for the use of the students and staff only. Students are expected to maintain cleanliness in and around the institution, car nd canteen. No eatables and softdrinks to be taken inside the campus after interval. Proper use of dustbins by the students is encouraged.
The institution has a well equipped Library. The Students are expected to make good use of the books. To use the library books the students are advised to follow the guidelines given by the library staff. Library is also equipped with prominent newspapers, magazines and periodical . Students and teachers are provided reference services.
